Secondhand Stories began with a simple belief: the right book has a way of finding us exactly when we need it.
My Etsy shop is built around carefully matching readers with books they may not have discovered on their own. Before long, I found myself constantly searching for new books—the hidden gems, vintage treasures, forgotten favorites, and unexpected stories waiting quietly on a shelf for the right reader to discover them.
Over the past year and a half, I've personally curated many books ranging from beloved classics and modern favorites to overlooked treasures, reader recommendations, and unique finds discovered in bookstores, antique shops, thrift stores, library sales, and small towns along the way. Every book in Find My Story was added intentionally and remains part of a catalog that I continue to build and refine.
As Secondhand Stories grew, I realized there was something readers wanted that traditional recommendation sites didn't always provide. Sometimes you don't know the title you're looking for. Sometimes you don't even know the author. You just know you want something cozy, adventurous, mysterious, atmospheric, comforting, magical, or completely different from what you've been reading lately.
That's why I created Find My Story.
Find My Story brings the spirit of Secondhand Stories into a digital space. It allows readers to search for a feeling, a mood, a genre, or a reading experience and discover books that match what they're looking for. It's inspired by the same idea behind a Blind Date with a Book: helping readers discover stories they might not have found on their own.
Every book in Find My Story was added by me. Every recommendation comes from a catalog I've spent countless hours building, organizing, expanding, and refining. The catalog is shaped by real books, real readers, and a lifelong love of reading. New books are added regularly, reader suggestions help shape future additions, and the library is always growing. While I can't promise that every recommendation will become your next favorite book, I hope each one brings you a little closer to finding a story you'll truly love.
Creating Find My Story has been one of the most rewarding projects I've ever worked on, and I'm incredibly grateful you've chosen to be part of it.
